Now Hiring: Customer Service Representative
Top-notch customer support is a cornerstone of BAYU. We’re looking for a Customer Support Rep to handle all customer inquiries and questions, become knowledgeable about all product content and help with retention projects. This role will have heavy phone contact with our customers.
What You Will Be Doing
- Answering customer emails: We strive for an immediate response time during business hours and use an online CRM interface that tracks all communications.
- Communicating with customers using live chat: Our CRM interface offers Live Chat so we may help our customers immediately.
- Speaking with customers over the phone: In many instances it’s necessary to speak with our customers one-on-one.
- Working in different online interfaces: We use multiple sites for different areas of Customer Operations.
- Providing Administrative Services: We frequently work in spreadsheets and Word docs (Excel and Google and Dropbox). We also attend weekly team calls.
- Project Management: We are constantly working on projects to improve efficiency and lower costs. You must be able to drive your own projects and communicate effectively.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful

- Must have experience handling customer phone calls, emails and chats.
- Must be fluent in written and spoken Malay and English.
- Experience using Dropbox, Gmail, Spreadsheets.
- Punctual and accountable for all work.
- Fast learner: We have a high volume of customer contact and we need someone who will jump in and learn quickly.
- Ability to raise hand and offer suggestions but understand that not all ideas can be rolled out.
You’ll Stand Out If You Have
- Previous sales and marketing experience
- If you are Sabahan because we are a Sabahan company mainly servicing the local Sabahan market.
- Experience in HR, Corporate Training, Personal Development Industry, Seminars Industry, Events Management or Promotions.
