My Mindset will determine my behaviour, will create my results
Successful individuals have empowering core beliefs and successful mindsets.
These core beliefs should be based on positive mental attitudes, empowering beliefs, and good habits.
These together will determine a successful interpretation and response of outcomes and situations.
As a result, individuals who ultimately become successful take the actions that the people who are unsuccessful will not.
This positive inner voice and solid belief comes from their success conditioning which has been literally installed, or ingrained in them from an early age or learned through their own committed effort.
The real secret to success is my mindset. The thoughts I have, the beliefs I hold and the actions I take based on those beliefs. These are the 7 CORE beliefs we at BAYU hold dearly.
BAYU’s 7 Core beliefs and keys to a Success Mindset
This is the starting point to accomplishments. What motivates us to succeed is rooted in a deep wish to achieve a clear vision, a purpose. Without this desire there can be no drive to push myself to accomplish my purpose. It is the desire for these things that is the catalyst to achieving my vision. “Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.” – Napoleon Hill
Once I have cultivated desire, the next step is commitment to my purpose. Being committed means that I am ready to do whatever it takes to achieve my vision and goals – with integrity and wisdom. “I will do whatever it takes, with integrity and wisdom”
Taking responsibility means accepting that I, as an individual and as a part of a team, make the decisions. I create my own destiny – not anyone else. Yes, along the way there will be roadblocks, sometimes even failures, but in the end it is I who put meaning to my results, and not others. Accepting responsibility is very challenging and yes, it is easier to just stay in my comfort zone just hoping and waiting for good things to happen. But I choose to take the risk of accepting responsibility for my life and not be passively waiting for good things to happen. “If it’s to be, It’s up to me”
4. Hard Work
I choose to work hard. Good things do not come to those who wait, without hard work. While people in general, want to win at life, there are few who are really prepared to put in the hard work, sacrifice and self-discipline to achieve that success. I am prepared to put in the hard work. “100% is possible, 100% of the time!”
5. Positive Belief
Anyone can have positive thoughts, but very few have positive beliefs. I believe that with preparation, the right attitude, hard work, that positive thinking will work and I will achieve my goals. Positive belief is not just wishful thinking, it’s the foundation, the core belief that supports all my thoughts, actions and ultimately my results. “I have a POSITIVE mental attitude!”
6. The Power of Persistence
No-one wins without first falling. It is in the falling that I eventually will become a winner. It is my persistence that sets me apart and my persistence comes from purpose. Living life with no purpose is living life drifting, and a person who has no purpose will not choose to persevere and will never succeed. “I have purpose and I will persevere.”
7. Pride of Performance
In me, there is a sense of pride. Pride in myself and what I am trying to achieve and the actions I am willing to take to make it happen. Pride is doing my best. No job is well done if it is done half-heartedly. The job is a reflection of myself, who is doing it. So I do it well, the best I can, so that I will have the winning edge. “I take pride in my performance”
